Vincent says Mongia was part of ring of cricket players allegedly acting under leadership of Cairns

Former India cricket star Dinesh Mongia has been implicated in the alleged match-fixing ring New Zealander Chris Cairns is accused of running.
Cairns is on trial for perjury over allegations he lied during a libel case brought against Indian Premier League founder Lalit Modi in 2012.
Modi was sued for £1.4 million (Dh7.9m) after he accused Cairns of match-fixing on Twitter in 2010.
Lou Vincent, another ex-New Zealand star, told Southwark Crown Court in London that Mongia and Daryl Tuffey were part of a ‘gang’ of players who fixed matches while playing for the Chandigarh Lions in the Indian Cricket League in 2008.
Mongia, 38, played 57 One Day Internationals for India, with a top score of 159 not out.
The left-hander also played for Lancashire and Leicestershire in English cricket.
He last played for India in 2007.
Cairns faces up to seven years in prison if found guilty of perjury.
The all-rounder played 62 Tests for New Zealand and is one of the few players to have achieved the double of 200 wickets and 3,000 runs.
He was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2000.
