It will be a great opportunity to see the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches live in Dubai. We usually watch them on television and enjoy, but as it gong to be in the UAE it is a great chance to watch and enjoy it live in the stadium.

Definitely looking forward to the IPL! Waiting for the online ticket sales eagerly so I can grab my tickets. I just hope they aren’t overpriced. If the price is kept within limits and is affordable then I expect the stadiums to be full, at least for the evening matches if not the day ones. I’ll go with two teams this season — Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kings XI Punjab. I think these two weeks of play in the UAE are more than enough. This is a golden opportunity for the Emirates Cricket Board to show to the world that they are capable of hosting high profile tournaments effortlessly with a full crowd. I hope that it is a huge success in terms of viewership and entertainment.

I am very happy to get the much awaited news that the UAE will host some matches of the IPL 2014. But, I think it would have been better if they would have hosted maximum matches here rather than in Bangladesh. My all time favourite team is Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and I hope they win the title this time.

There definitely should have been more matches in the UAE. There is a large population from the sub-continent in the UAE who love this sport and what better display than seeing all the superstars of the world at one event.

First it was the Expo 2020 and now the IPL 2014 matches are going to be played in the UAE. It is a great feeling for all the cricket enthusiasts living here, and I am sure it will be a great eye-opener for the youngsters. I am sure there are several cricket lovers from other GCC countries who will also be visiting the UAE during the matches. We are gearing up for this adrenalin rush.
