The San Diego Comic-Con has revealed the trailer of its new show, The Gifted, a new X-men spin-off TV series that follows the Strucker family as they go on the run from the government after discovering that their children have mutant powers. The family enlists the help from fellow mutants on the way. To introduce fans to this new superhero series, Fox set up a “gene screening station” outside the Hilton Bayfront. Participants must submit to swabbing inside their mouths and will later learn about their personal genetic profiles. The show stars Jamie Chung as the mutant Blink, Emma Dumont as the mutant Polaris, Blair Redford as the mutant Thunderbird and Sean Teale as the mutant Eclipse.
