It seems Fawad Khan shall only be doing TV commercials for now, before we get to see him in producer-director Bilal Lashari’s much-talked-about magnum opus, Maula Jutt 2 (working title). The heartthrob who is also one of Pakistan’s most successful — and loved — crossover star, was recently in Bangkok where he shot for an ad with well-known director Farooq Mannan. Riding a vintage car, Khan looked like royalty as he took part in the shoot.
He was styled by Tony&Guy’s Shamail Qureshi. Back home, he is also expected to appear in Pepsi Battle of the Bands’s fresh season which starts later this year.
For the uninitiated, Khan featured as a celebrity judge, together with Meesha Shafi, Atif Aslam, Shahi Hasan, and Farooq Ahmed in BOTB’s last season also. He also sang an old number from his former Entity Paradigm (EP) band.
