Stereo Arcade, the pub located at the Double Tree Hilton in JBR, will host a series of live acts featuring local and international artists.
Those already signed include Dubai-based musician Jay Wud, who supported Guns’n’Roses and Motley Crue, and Abri & Funk Radius, led by Emirati singer Hamdan Al Abri.
“We not only want to bring the very best local acts to Stereo Arcade, but also motivate the songwriters of tomorrow and give them a platform to let their originals be heard; we’re trying to move away from the ‘only covers’ culture and the only way to do that is to let our musicians know that we would love for them to play originals,” said Stereo Arcade founder Samer S. Hamadeh.
In the next 12 months the pub has promised to deliver live music covering different genres, from rock and pop to hip hop, country and folk.
