As part of Dubai Concert Committee’s World Classical Music Series, soprano Marlis Petersen and pianist Camillo Radicke are coming to town on September 8.
German-born Petersen has performed at venues including the Bregenz Festival (2000), La Bastille in Paris (2000), MET New York (2005) and at the Lyric Opera of Chicago (2007). She has worked with ensembles such as the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
Radicke was born in Dresden, Germany. He won first prizes in international piano competitions in Palma de Mallorca (1990), Athens (1992) and Vercelli (1992). He is a regular in the recital scene.
The show will be held at the ballroom at One & Only Royal Mirage, from 8-10pm. Tickets start at Dh250.
