Return of Yusuf

Following a sold-out run in October 2015, Palestinian playwright Amir Nizar Zuabi’s I am Yusuf and This is My Brother is set for a limited repeat run in Dubai.

The play runs from January 15-16 at Dubai’s The Junction at 8pm. Award-winning theatre troupe Danu Dubai return for this repeat production, as does director Padraig Downey.

The play follows the story of Palestinian brothers Ali and Yusuf in 1948. “It’s optimistic and ends on a hopeful note, and it shows Palestinians as strong Arabs [and] strong humans,” said Downey.
