30 wildlife photographers from the UAE and around the world are exhibiting their work in an exhibition titled The Wild Trails. The show captures the beauty of our planet as seen through the eyes of artists who love nature, and truly respect and cherish the animals, birds, insects and other creatures that exist on earth, and the natural habitats they live in.

The show has been organised by Paws Trails Explorers, a travel company that specialises in arranging exclusive, photography-centric tours to exotic locales and virgin territories. The company was co-founded by Hermis Haridas, a photographer who loves travel, nature and bird photography; and Nisha Purushothaman, who describes herself as a naturalist, conservationist photographer.

“Photographers are like mythical heroes, unafraid to delve into the unknown. They wander far and wide exploring the remote corners of the world and returning with a handful of splendid moments captured through their magic lens. It is a journey of passion and patience, where the mundane becomes stark and lucid. Through this show, we bring you some of those magical moments,” Purushothaman says.

The Wild Trails will run at The Cartoon Gallery, Al Quoz, until March 22.
