Dubai: The Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau were in Paris last week to give an update on the Expo.
Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General Bureau Expo Dubai 2020, spoke at the 159th General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), according to a statatement from Expo 2020 Dubai on Saturday. She updated the 169 member countries on the progress and key milestones achieved over the last six months.
Dubai will host the Expo, a six month trade fair, between October 2020 and April 2021.
Expo 2020 Dubai said that it is developing a number of commercial partnerships with global companies in sectors including aviation, technology, finance, shipping and logistics, telecommunications and travel and tourism. It recently partnered with Emirates Airline, etisalat and DP World.
