Dubai: Wondering which companies you are most likely happy to work for? Look no farther than the winners of this year’s best employers search.

DHL Express UAE and Microsoft Gulf have been chosen as this year’s top two best employers in the Middle East by Aon Hewitt, the global talent, retirement and health solutions business of Aon.

The two companies are closely followed by P&G Near East, with DHL Express Oman and DHL Express Kuwait completing the top five.

The Best Employers Middle East 2013, now on its third year, was based on inputs from more than 130,000 employees from over 130 organisations, and took into account excellent people practices and how they enable business performance and the employees in their organisation.

It is the second consecutive time for DHL Express UAE to land in the list. The rest of the top 15 best employers in the region include Microsoft Egypt, securing the sixth place, followed by Marriott International Mena (7th), Path Solutions in Kuwait (8th), Cairo Concentrate Plant, Atlantic Industries, a subsidiary of the Coca-Cola company in Egypt (9th), TNT Express Mena (10th), GPIC Bahrain (11th), aswaaq UAE (12th), Fine Hygiene Paper UAE (13th), Coca-Cola Mena (14th) and Alkhabeer Capital in Saudi Arabia (15th).

Dr Markus Wiesner, CEO at Aon Hewitt Middle East noted that this year’s survey has the highest participation from organisations in the region. This only shows that companies around the region recognize the need to create a positive work culture.

The Best Employers Middle Eat 2013 winners will be honoured at a ceremony to be held at The Address Downtown on June 13.
