A charity football match between Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Dino Morea and entrepreneur Raj Kundra planned for Dubai this Friday has been postponed following the death of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia.

The match had been due to take place at Al Nasr Football Club and would have seen the actors play a friendly against top UAE officials and corporate leaders in the All Stars FC Vs Dubai Leaders game.

Other cancellations this coming weekend include the Dubai Shopping Festival Celebration Nights concerts at Dubai Media City on January 29 (Diana Haddad and Mohammad Assaf) and January 30 (Kadim Al Sahir and Hussain Al Jasmi). Refunds are available from the point of sale. DSF retail events including Nicole Richie’s appearance at the Celebrity Pop-Up Shop at The Beach on Friday are going ahead, the festival said in a statement.

Mast Kalandar 2015, which had been due to feature actress Gauahar Khan and Mika Singh on January 29 at Dubai Creek Park has also been postponed. Organisers Awesome Management say that the event will be rescheduled and tickets bought would be valid for the new date. Enquiries can be made on 055-5412626 and 052-8777860.
