The X Factor US’s third season will end this month. Fans in the UAE will be able to watch the finals at the same time as it airs in America.
On December 20 at 9pm, the talent show, that has earlier graduated the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Adam Lambert, will air in the region exclusively on OSN.
The show, with Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Paulino Rubio and Simon Cowell on the judging panel, faced scrutiny this year as viewership reached a low of 3.25 million during episode 12, and only managed to attract 3.75 episodes in its latest episode. Speculation spread that the show might be getting the axe, and that this season could be the last for Cowell, who admitted to British publication Metro that he plans to return to the UK version of the show soon after two years of being on the American version.
“I will at some point,” he said. “I still miss that, I mean that show is my baby.”
