Host Drashti Dhami out of dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7’

TV actress Drashti Dhami will no longer host the seventh season of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Ja 7.

In a tweet, Dhami informed her fans of her exit. She wrote: “Tweepies — my journey at Jhalak... comes to an end. Thank u all for ur love & support.”

Dhami, who had won the sixth season of the show, and actor Ranbir Shorey have been co-hosting the show since it began on June 7. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa airs on Saturday and Sunday at 9pm on Colors.

The reason for Dhami’s exit is not known yet. It is claimed that Colors channel called her up and informed her of the decision.

According to speculation, Manish Paul, who had hosted the previous season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, might replace her.
