If you’re a 30 Rock fan who continues to mourn the lack of new episodes, you have the chance to experience one of its stars in the flesh. American actor and comedian Tracy Morgan will be making his UAE debut during two Abu Dhabi stand-up shows on February 6 and 7 of next year.

Morgan, who got his start on the hit 90s TV show Martin, is best known for his time on late-night variety television show Saturday Night Live and, later, on NBC’s 30 Rock. In 1996, he began his seven year run on SNL and his multi-character skits paved the way for his current day popularity. On 30 Rock, he acted alongside Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey as Tracy Jordan, the erratic star of fictional television show TGS and Tracy Jordan known for his absurd one-liners.

However, Morgan’s live material has little in common with his scripted lines on the show, and the comedian’s oft-offensive jokes have been known to garner negative attention from the media and public. An approximate 50 audience members walked out of his show earlier this year in Australia, which received scathing reviews and warranted demands of refunds, reported the Herald Sun. For his shows at du FORUM, organisers FLASH Entertainment have advised that “adult language” will be used.
