The Corp Executive apartments in Al Barsha are crossing some interesting boundaries here with a unique exhibition titled Fun Sculptures by Amanda Ovington.
This Australian-born quirky sculptor and painter chooses comedic human situations for her content, recreating these in, (very obvious comic style) painted sculptures – much like a stand up act on real life observations.
An interesting departure from the norm, these sculptures could make fabulous statement pieces and conversation starters in a home. Ovington’s exhibition takes place on May 18 until June 1, 2011.
