Have a free evening tonight? Get yourself down to Rock Bottom for Comedy Dubai’s Get Up Stand Up comedy night.

There is a line up of eight comedians, all charged with making you laugh all evening long. We headed down to their last event in the venue and caught Jamie Johnson, who will be MCing tonight and last week his close to the line jokes had us in stitches, and Nitin Mirani, an Indian comedian known for his Komic Sutra, who’s observations on Indian expat life in Dubai were just hilarious.

The event is totally free, so head down and check out Nitin and Jamie, as well as an impressive line up that includes Demis Kyriacou, Ellen-Gayle Harwood, Ray Addison, Omar Shams, Salman Zahid Queshi and Ola Gbaja-Biamila.

Both Jamie Johnson and Ray Addison are taking their shows to the Edinburgh festival this year, so if a trip to the Scottish capital isn’t on your travel agenda, head to this and it will be like you’re own little preview of the festival, but in Dubai.

The comedy kicks off at 8pm, and should be finished at around 10pm.
