Lido de Paris has been a staple in the world of cabaret since 1946.

Its elaborate performances — now including 600 costumes, 70 artists and 23 sets — have been a dazzling fixture on the Champs Elysees. On May 2 and 3, Lido will arrive at the Cavalli Club in Fairmont Hotel for two shows.

“It will definitely not be a scaled-down version of our performances in Paris,” CEO Herve Duperret said. “We cannot bring all the magic of such a place to you, but we’re certainly bringing what makes the difference: the French atmosphere and ten magnificent Bluebells Girls of the Lido de Paris.”

The full-cast Parisian shows currently see upwards of 400,000 people a year from across the globe visiting to witness the magic. And contrary to your first instinct when hearing “cabaret”, the show is typically suitable for people of all ages.

“When you come to Lido, the performances on stage transform any adult into a child,” Duperret said. “So, this is why our audience in Paris is composed of children and grown-ups, both of them finding their own piece of their dream in our shows.”

The show at Cavalli, however, will only draw an older crowd.

“It is called Touch of Lido and presents some of the most emblematic showcases that made the world-famous reputation of the Lido,” Deperret said.
