Fresh-faced electronic producer Zedd will be heading to Dubai on September 5 for a performance at Zero Gravity in Dubai Marina, organisers have announced.

The announcement was first made on July 8 by House United, a management and booking agency, and Blush Records via Facebook. Details such as full line-up and ticket prices have yet to be confirmed. Universal Music Mena tweeted about the performance on Sunday night, urging fans to check back for more information.

Zedd, born Anton Zaslavski, has been on the music scene since 2002, but only took the radio waves by storm over the last few years with a slew of commercial hits.

The 24-year-old German-Russian is known for his collaborations with some of the biggest names in pop. Zedd produced Aura, G.U.Y. and Donatella on Lady Gaga’s album, Artpop. He also produced and co-wrote Beauty and a Beat for Justin Bieber on the album Believe. The song reached No 5 in America, making it Zedd’s highest charting song to date.

His song Stay the Night, sung by Hayley Williams of Paramore, hit No 1 on the Billboard dance charts, though it didn’t chart higher than No 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was included on the deluxe version of his 2012 debut album, Clarity. His eponymous single, featuring Foxes, reached No 8 and was awarded the Grammy for Best Dance Recording.

Fans have already expressed excitement over the upcoming Dubai gig. A couple fans had wishfully tweeted “ZeddtoDubai” before the news was announced.
