Abu Dhabi: Super producer Timbaland wowed an audience of thousands when he performed a DJ set with many of the hit songs he produced for music stars such as Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado during one of Yasalam’s Beats on the Beach.
However, there were several miss moments, such as when he called out "I love Dubai!" and "I love Arabic music - I went to India and performed in a Bollywood movie!" But Timbaland still managed to get a mostly listless crowd to respond, by playing, among others, some favourites like Sexy Back, Say it Right and The Way I Are. He also caused a frenzy when he stepped down to interact with the crowd before returning to the stage.
Timbaland also performed songs from his upcoming album, Shock Value II, which is due to be released on November 23.
