Dubai: Tiesto fans left disappointed by the DJ's no-show on October 1 should put their dancing shoes back on: the Dutch DJ will return to the city to perform on February 17, 2011, concert organisers Flash announced on Wednesday.
Tiesto's October concert was cancelled hours before he was supposed to take the stage at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, with organisers citing technical difficulties at the venue.
He'll now return with his Kaleidoscope World Tour at the Flash Forum on Yas Island, a new venue that was inaugurated during the Yasalam series of concerts alongside the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November with performances from Prince and Tinie Tempah.
"This year I have concentrated all my energy on the Kaleidoscope World Tour and Abu Dhabi was a destination I was really looking forward to playing," said Tiesto in a statement. "I can't wait to return and finally give my fans the show that they have all been waiting for. I plan to have my tour's last stop in Abu Dhabi and make this show an unforgettable one."
Tickets for the new date go on sale on December 19. Those who held tickets for the October show can purchase tickets from December 16.
