Fans treated to a musical extravaganza in Dubai

- Frontmen Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt took the crowd on a Status Quo musical extravaganza spanning four decades of jangling rock guitar riffs and solos.
Dubai: Status Quo opened their show under clear skies after expected rain on Saturday night with hits including Sweet Caroline and Whatever You Want to a cheering crowd.
A very mixed age group -- from teenagers who had never heard of the Quo through to aging veteran rockers -- all thoroughly enjoyed the night.
