Nasimi Sessions is the latest concert series to hit Atlantis, The Palm.
To launch the series, British drum and bass duo Sigma and dance duo Basement Jaxx will headline the first concert on February 6. Local acts Kroft, Andy Swift, Smoking Groove with DJ Dave De Luca will also perform.
Sigma are the pair behind their hit single, Nobody to Love, a remix of Kanye West’s Bound 2. Basement Jaxx, who have performed in the city before, hit No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart with their 2014 single, Never Say Never.
Organisers have not yet announced a schedule of upcoming shows, but told tabloid! there will be “several sessions per season”.
