An Arizona man is accusing hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of punching him in the face at a Super Bowl party.
Scottsdale police Sgt Ben Hoster says 31-year-old Steven Donaldson first cussed at the rapper for not performing at the party early Sunday.
Hoster says the Phoenix-area resident provided police with a cellphone video that shows him berating a man who appears to be Combs. The video ends before a punch is thrown.
Donaldson also told police a security officer threw him to the ground. Hoster says Donaldson appeared to be intoxicated at the time.
No charges have been filed, but Hoster says investigators may want to question Combs if Donaldson presses charges.
Combs or his agent couldn’t be reached for comment.
