Ten years of impersonating Robbie Williams make Tony Lewis an unmatched expert at what he does. He’ll be swaggering into the Terrace Millennium Airport Hotel in Dubai on January 30 to flex his muscles and show us what the art of imitation is really about.
Not only has the tribute performer been slipping into Williams’ shoes at venues all across the UK for a decade, but he’s also received the ultimate seal of approval from the Take That man himself, who he’s seen posing with on his ‘Tony as Robbie’ website and Facebook page.
“I think it’s great, I’m really flattered!” Williams said. “It’s extremely hard work being me.”
Lewis is so similar in appearance to Williams that he even played his double in a series of short films for the album Rudebox.
It may be a tough job, but Lewis is up for the challenge. He’ll be performing some of the pop star’s greatest hits, from Angels, Rock DJ and to the party anthem, Let Me Entertain You.
