Mohammad Assaf fans waiting since last month to see their idol should head to Global Village on February 20. The Arab Idol winner’s last scheduled concert in Dubai was postponed following the death of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz last month. Now he’ll be performing at the family-oriented fair alongside Carmen Soliman and Hazem Al Sharif as part of a four-concert series.
The series, which is free to attend after paying Global Village entrance fees, starts on February 12 with Balqees and Fayez Al Saeed. Haitham Khalaily, Dounia Batma and Ramy Ayach take to the stage on February 27; Hala Al Turk wraps things up on February 28. The event is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment as part of Dubai Food Festival, with Platinum Records.
