Dubai-based post-rock band EYE have been chosen to support American legends Evanescence on June 22.
Formed in 2006, all of the members of EYE, which stands for Empty Yard Experiment, hail from Iran with the exception of Bojan and Altamash, who are from Serbia and Pakistan/Venezuela respectively.
Describing themselves as a blend of post-rock and alternative, progressive music, the band is inspired by Middle Eastern culture, politics, and influences include bands Tool, King Crimson and Nine Inch Nails.
Evanescence will perform at Dubai World Trade Centre. Tickets, priced Dh250, Dh450 and Dh595, are available at platinumlist.ae
