As a part of his world tour that will take him to Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand and America, Richie will return to the Middle East for one stop in the UAE at this outdoor event – arriving right in time for warmer weather.
The soul singer first came onto the music scene in 1968 as part of the band Commodores, signed to game-changing company Motown Records. Together, the band released hits such as Easy and Three Times A Lady, contributing to an electric era of funk music.
In the early ‘80s, Richie went solo and shot to the top of the charts with his debut self-titled album and his first number one single, Truly. Over thirty years of making music have earned him five Grammy awards and a reputation for putting out classic hits, from Hello and Dancin’ on the Ceiling to Say You, Say Me and My Destiny.
