Les Grandes Bouches are swinging into town for one night only. The French trio, who are known for their jazz, swing and groove skills, will take to the stage for their first concert in the UAE at the Oud Metha on January 30.
True to their name, which translates into ‘The Big Mouths’, Philippe Dutheil (vocals), Rémi Mouillerac (vocals, guitar) and Anne Laure Grellety Madaule (vocals) are known to transcend expectations and provide an unlikely, larger than life sound. They utilise their voices, bodies and hand-clapping and finger-snapping techniques to engage the audience. Their defining harmonies, dynamic riffs, high levels of energy and impressive improvisation skills are sure to make for an interesting night.
The concert is presented by Alliance Francaise of Dubai and under the sponsorship of the French Embassy in the UAE.
