Three-time Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Leona Lewis will close five days of movies, music and more at this year's Doha Tribeca Film Festival.

DTFF 2011 will host a culturally diverse range of musical performances, bringing a fresh set of sounds and voices who have never been performed in Qatar before.

The all-female lineup includes Grammy Award-winning African musical icon Angélique Kidjo from Morocco, acclaimed independent jazz-soul diva Somi and Bleeding Love singer Lewis.

The music stars compliment the A-listers of the movie world who will also descend on the festival from October 25 to 29.

Antonio Banderas, James Horner, Joe Letteri, Luc Besson, Morgan Spurlock, Christopher Doyle and Nadine Labaki and award-winning British-Indian filmmaker Asif Kapadia are just some of the names to confirm so far.

Many of the celebrities will play strong roles in Doha Talks - a series of nine panels, master classes and ‘in conversation' events.

Filmmaker Asif Kapadia, whose latest film Senna, a masterful and touching retrospective look at the life and tragic death of Formula One race car driver Ayrton Senna, is currently the talk of the movie world his film receiving critical acclaim.
