King of Leon's Nathan Followill (@doctorfollowill) posted this picture of himself with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai on Wednesday night. "Great minds dress alike. #meninblackshorts #legend #unclejimmy".

You might have heard that Kings of Leon and Black Sabbath were in town on Wednesday night, but how about this for rock ‘n’ roll news: Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page was chilling out in Dubai too, unbeknownst to most of us.

News emerged when Kings of Leon drummer, Nathan Followill, posted a photo on Twitter of Page and himself on the beach after their show had wrapped up at the Atlantis.

According to organisers, Page was there just to hang out with the band and has already left to his next destination.

This isn’t the first time a rock star has been jotted down on the Kings of Leon guest list. Page joins big name musicians Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Lars Ulrich, Eddie Vedder and Chris Martin who have all shown their support for the Southern rockers at one point or the other. Nothing like a bit of rock star solidarity to make your day.
