Rajesh Roshan
Composer Rajesh Roshan has always composed his best for brother Rakesh Roshan's films. However, the music of Krrish doesn't satisfy the pre-release expectations. Though there are a few good songs, most of the tunes sound like they've been rehashed from past popular tracks.
The opening number Aao Sunaye Pyar Ki Ek Kahani (Sonu Nigam-Shreya Ghoshal) reminds of the past hit Bholi Si Surat Aankhon Mein Masti. The next number Koi Tumsa Nahi is arguably the best song where Nigam and Ghoshal redeem themselves with a fabulous rendition.
Udit Narayan and Ghoshal team up next to dish out a nice rhythmic track Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.
Rafaqat Ali Khan and Alka Yagnik then render the passable romantic duet Main Hoon Woh Aasman. This album closes with Kunal Ganjawalla's average-sounding dance number Dil Na Diya. The melody of this track reminds one of Rohan's earlier composition Jeene Ke Bahane Laakhon Hain. Going with the recent trend, some of the songs reappear in the album in remixed formats.

This album puts together songs from Amitabh Bachchan's earlier films. With songs such as Chookar Mere Man Ko, Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein, Yeh Dosti, Yamma Yamma, De De Pyar De, Are Diwano Mujhe Pahchano, O Saaathi Re, Dhoop Mein Nikla Na Karo and Jumma Chumma De De, this album offers some wonderful music for all.

This album features an eclectic mix of songs from the last 50 years of film music. There is no uniformity in the moods, and the year of the songs and this issue needs to be corrected in future compilations. Songs such as Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Jiya Beqarar Hai, Pyar Maanga Hai, Hothon Se Chhoo Lo Tum, Patthar Ke Sanam and O Duniya Ke Rakhwale are all great songs individually, but in an album without a theme, they don't have much impact.

It is a must-have album for music connoisseurs, featuring Lata Mangeshkar's songs from the '50s and '60s. This collection of relatively unknown, but superb numbers such as Itna Na Sata, Aye Dil Zuban Na Khol, Tabiyat Theek Thii, Nadiya Ke Paani, Tera Khat Leke Sanam, Khoyi Khoyi Ankhiyan, Aankhon Mein Tujhko, Machalti Aarzoo and Rang Rangeela Saanwra, are true musical gems.
