You don’t have to pinch yourself — 90’s Northern Irish pop-dance group D:ream really are hitting Societe Club at Marina Byblos Hotel in Dubai. The band is set to take the stage on February 2 to perform a set of their greatest chart-toppers, from U R the Best Thing to the UK No 1 hit Things Can Only Get Better.
D:ream, who formed in the early 90’s with members Al Mackenzie, Cian McCarthey and front man Peter Cunnah, released two full-length studio albums filled with Top 40 singles. They compiled a greatest hits record before disbanding in 1997.
The group rejoined forces in 2008 after Cunnah and Mackenzie crossed paths unintentionally, eventually releasing In Memory Of… in 2011, their first studio album in 15 years.
