Joining The Wanted, Olly Murs and Jamie Cullum at Dubai’s highly anticipated 12th Emirates Airline Dubai International Jazz Festival will be chart-topping girl-next-door starlet Colbie Caillat.
From Myspace to the world of mainstream music, the singer-songwriter climbed to a surreal fame with her cheery vocals and acoustic guitar. A year after her popularity sparked on the social media website in 2006, she released one of the best-selling digital tracks out there with her first single Bubbly, and her debut album Coco went multiplatinum in no time.
The golden haired crooner was nominated for two Grammy awards with her second album, Breakthrough, and later won two Grammy awards for her well-received collaborations with none other than Jason Mraz and Taylor Swift.
Performing with jazz-pop star Cullum on February 20 at Festival Park, Caillat marks the fourth of eight main acts to be announced for the star-studded Jazz Festival line-up. The two performers will follow behind UK boy band The Wanted and pop prince Murs who are set to love up the stage a week prior on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
