Dubai: Bollywood's feel-good friendship tale Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) dominates this year's Zee Cine Awards list with a score of five nominations in best film, best director, best actor (male and female) and best song categories.

The Hrithik Roshan-starrer is followed closely by Salman Khan's blockbuster Bodyguard, Vidya Balan's risque drama The Dirty Picture and Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar with four nominations each for the awards, to be held at The Venetian on the island of Macau on January 21.

Though the statistics are not as staggering for Shah Rukh Khan's epics Don 2 and Ra.One which have three nominations apiece, the hero stands a strong chance since he has been nominated twice in the best actor category, for his performances in the super-hero flick and the hit crime caper.

Ajay Devgn's cop drama Singham is also one of the top contenders and has found its way into the best director, best film and best actor slots. South Indian director Siddique, who made his Bollywood breakthrough with blockbuster Bodyguard, will battle it out with regulars including Rohit Shetty (Singham), Imtiaz Ali (Rockstar), Milan Luthria (The Dirty Picture) and sibling duo Farhan (Don 2) and Zoya Akhtar (ZNMD).

The awards are not limited to honouring the best in films. A category christened International Icon (Male and Female) will reward the most stylish and crackling personality in showbiz.

Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Farhan Akhtar will be vying for that title. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor - the nominee for best actress for Bodyguard - will compete with the likes of Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Anushka Sharma for the International Icon (Female) crown.

The star-studded ceremony, which includes confirmed show and dance spectacles by Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapur and Anushka Sharma, is slated to attract some of the biggest names from Bollywood this year.

The winners are chosen by the masses through an online voting process. To cast your vote log on to www.zeecineawards.com.
