In these pictures the Hollywood star and his crew are hanging by ropes from the top of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, while filming a stunt for Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol in the city.
“It’s hard today to find places that haven’t been shot, so cinematically, it’s going to be beautiful,” Cruise told Gulf News about making the film here. A helicopter filmed the action.
Stunned onlookers on the observation deck on the tower’s 124th floor told Gulf News they were amazed to see the star, who is famous for doing his own death-defying stunts, descend in front of them and abseil down the front of the building.
