Sonakshi, the next item bomb?
Sinha is all set to play a glam diva Himmatwala
Sinha will make an appearance as a glammed-up diva in Sajid Khan’s Himmatwala in a song titled Thank God It’s Friday. Inspired by the ’80s disco era, the song will be along the lines of Parveen Babi’s classic Jawani Jaaneman, the iconic number from the hit Namak Halal. A dance floor, a shiny disco ball and 100 dancers have been roped in to add sparkle.
Sinha’s costumes will be designed by Manish Malhotra. A set called Funky Town has also been erected in a studio in Mumbai. Himmatwala, currently being filmed, stars Ajay Devgn and Tamannah.
“It’s too early to talk about the song, but yes Sonakshi has been roped in,” said director Sajid Khan in a statement.
tabloid! will be in Mumbai this weekend to get the inside scoop on Himmatwala.
