The plot: This stunning adaption of Yann Martel's fantasy adventure novel tells the story of Pi Patel (Sharma), the precocious son of a zookeeper, who, after a disaster at sea, is forced to make it on his own, forging a groundbreaking story. When the ship he is on is wrecked in the Pacific, he finds himself clinging to life on a 26-foot raft, along with a zebra, hyena, orangutan and a 450-pound Bengal tiger, called Richard Parker, with whom Pi forms an unexpected and deep connection. There is absolutely no way you won’t leave the cinema touched by this story of friendship and survival.
