The full cast of UAE’s first Bollywood production Dollars was announced at the Vegas Club, Holiday Inn Bur Dubai on Sunday.

Dubai-based actor Naren Kumaar was introduced last month. He will be joined by Khap actor Sarrtaj Gill, Dubai-based Wiam Dhimani and starlet Rachana Maurya in the lead.

The film follows the journey of two Mumbai-based friends who after finding work in Dubai are assigned to an official project in Iraq, where they find themselves in a deadly trap.

“A movie that has been in the making for the last eight years, it is an honour to finally have the support of the most talented partners in the industry,” said director Sameer Khan. “Dubai is a perfect backdrop of this film — offering the high life scenes set for Dollars. I’m humbled by the supportive [co-producers] Vinod Adnani and Ashwani Sehdev whose vision reflect this film and we are looking forward to starting the filming.”

Filming is scheduled to start on Wednesday in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi before moving to Jordan and India.
