Dubai: If you’ve always thought your dog has acting chops, here’s your chance to see if your pet has what it takes.

The producers of The Wizard Of Oz are looking for two dogs to share the role of Toto, Dorothy’s little dog, in the stage show to take place at Madinat Theatre in April.

The show, put on by Popular Productions, will run for nineteen performances and two dogs share duties. Applicants do not need to have prior stage experience but do need to be well-trained and calm around children. Trainers from K9 Friends will select ten finalists from submissions to visit and work with before selecting the final two for the role; applications, with a recent photograph of the dog, breed, age and weight should be sent to
