Tunisian singer Latifa, one of the guests of MEIFF, is very impressed with the capital's film event. "I'm amazed with what I have seen so far. Abu Dhabi was one of the cities which opened its door to me when I started singing," she said.
Latifa thinks that the festival is wonderful and "it's reflecting the soul of the city and gathering the best of the best filmmakers from all over the world".
Latifa released her latest album recently and is preparing for a new movie in Cairo. "I can't talk about it now. Every thing will be announced on time."
"There is good film production in the Arab world but what we need is good storytellers, who are honest and brave," she added.
Latifa's ambition is to play a role of an artist in a movie. "I'm looking forward to play a role close to my personal story," she said.
