Director Mikael Håfström
Rating 4/5

When the reckless Thor leads his band of buddies on a revenge raid against the Frost Giants, the destruction of the tentative peace between Asgard and Jotunheim leads his father Odin to banish his headstrong son to earth, in a bid to teach him some humility and patience. Stripped of his powers - and parted from his hammer, Mjolnir, Thor meets (well, is run over actually) by Jane Foster (Portman), an astrophysicist researching the very areas of space Thor calls home. But when Thor's brother Loki, (Hiddleston) joins the Frost Giants, Thor needs to find a way home to save his future kingdom.

e+ says Fab performances from Hopkins and Hemsworth make this a superior action movie.
