An untiring hunter, Boba Fett has many fans, despite his well-known rivalry with the Jedi Order, especially with Han Solo and Chewbacca.

As we saw in Episode II: The Attack of the Clones, Boba Fett was born on Kamino, in the cloning centre. He was an unaltered clone and lived there until he was 10. He then had to flee with his father, Jango Fett, on their ship, Slave I, when Obi-Wan Kenobi tried to capture Jango.

They escaped, but the Jedi was able to place a transmitter in the helmet of the ship and to follow them to Geonosis. In fact, the last scene of the movie has Boba picking up the helmet of his beheaded father, after his death in a duel with Jedi Master Mace Windu.

When Boba grew up, he followed in the footsteps of his father and achieved galactic-level fame as the best bounty hunter. The expanded universe narrates how his first official work was for Jabba the Hutt, and consisted of killing Gilramos Libkath, head of a band of thieves in Tatooine.

Of course, the corrupt imperial situation helped him enormously in fulfilling his missions. Orphaned at a young age, Boba lived through the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War, surviving both, yet never allying outright with either the Galactic Republic, the Separatists, the Galactic Empire, or later, the Rebel Alliance.

Boba had conflicts with the Rebel Alliance in the planets Bespin and Tatooine, where many people believe he passed away in the stomach of the Sarlacc (Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi).

But the expanded universe says that Boba Fett returns and continues looking for Han Solo to seek revenge.

After the conclusion of the Galactic Civil War, Fett would become the leader of the Mandalorians.

A curious fact: Boba was once married to Sintas Vel and had a daughter named Ailyn Vel. He later abandoned his young family to return to bounty hunting.
