The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has won a prize at one of the most prestigious advertising awards ceremonies in the world.

Its latest television commercial ‘Be Still’ won a bronze in the Film Craft category for copywriting at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.

Competing alongside international heavyweight brands, the video’s simplicity won over the jury.

Created by advertising agency TBWA/RAAD it takes the viewer on a morning to night journey of Abu Dhabi’s cityscape and landscapes, through the desert and up the mountains. 

The film, narrated in the style of a poem, tells a brief story of life as it is in the emirate exploring past, present and future meeting real people along the way.
