WWE superstars John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins on Thursday morning kicked off their three-day tour in Abu Dhabi with a drive on the Yas Marina Circuit — home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix — and a promise to pull out all the stops in their shows.

Three live WWE shows will be held in the UAE capital from February 12-14, with the stars promising great shows for the UAE’s fans.

Ziggler promised to steal the show and win the Intercontinental Championship in his match-up against Wade Barrett.

“First of all, thank you so much for having us over here. We love it. I promise that these three nights will not just be entertaining, awesome and a sight to see. Myself, personally, will be doing what I do best in this business, stealing the show and winning the Intercontinental Championship.”

Ziggler also talked about the WWE live experience and why fans should come to the events. “WWE live is one of the coolest things on the planet, it’s sports, it’s entertaining, it’s all wrapped into one and we bring it on the road and keep expanding globally because it is an awesome fun time. I can promise all your favourite superstars will be on their top form to pull out all the stops, but I’m going to steal the show.”

Seth Rollins, the WWE’s Money in the Bank briefcase holder, and the proclaimed future face of the WWE, also spoke of his excitement at being in Abu Dhabi and how great the city is. “We love coming over here to Abu Dhabi. [The city has] phenomenal people, phenomenal culture, beautiful weather, the cars, the whole thing is just phenomenal. And on top of everything the fans, the fans here are incredible, we’re looking forward to the show tonight and I know the fans in Abu Dhabi are looking forward to seeing Mr Money in the Bank.”

Speaking with tabloid! Rollins also promised to bring his A-game for the fans of Abu Dhabi. “Over the next three nights Abu Dhabi and the entire Middle East can expect what they see every single week, and that’s me at the top of my game performing better than anybody else in the entire WWE locker room. I’m going to bring my A-game and show the people of Abu Dhabi who the man really is.”

Rollins also went on to talk about how he’s fulfilling a childhood dream by being able to travel the world and come to places like Abu Dhabi to perform and wrestle for the fans. “It’s indescribable, it’s literally beyond words. You know when I was a young boy watching my favourite superstars, I grew up in a small town, so for me to able to travel half way across the world, to be able to hang out with you guys and you guys being interested in what I’m doing, and appreciating what I do... it defies logic and it’s a bigger dream than I ever could have imagined, and that’s coming from the heart. I mean that a hundred per cent — it’s really incredible to be here with you guys, to be able to do what we do best.”

Cena, the 15-time world champion and the face of the WWE for more than 10 years, told the press how the audience and fans, as well as the competition, inspire him to be the best. “The audience [keeps me motivated], and believe it or not, the competition. People like Dolph Ziggler, people like Seth Rollins, people always pushing you to try to do great things. And on top of that the audience. The WWE crosses all platforms and transcends language, it transcends pretty much everything, So we can go everywhere on the globe.”
