Beyonce and Jay-Z have paid out £2,170 (Dh12,863) for a cot, £372,000 for a rocking horse and have spent £12,400 so far on their baby's shoe collection.

So it's no surprise that Blue Ivy is predicted to be the "worst, spoiled little child ever" by her own father.

The rap mogul can be seen in a preview for an upcoming show to be aired on OWN called Oprah's Master Class: Special Edition where he delves into the issues of parenthood.

While the video — which also stars Jon Bon Jovi, Reba McIntire, Ted Turner and Diane Sawyer — touches on the star's humble beginnings, the subject soon turns to the VIP treatment his wife Beyonce's first child will be getting.

Though the New York native would like to think he'll take on techniques learnt from his parents over the years, with his $450 million (Dh1.65 billion) worth, it's hardly likely. The 42-year-old admits the tot is going to get whatever she wants as she grows up with the power couple to call mum and dad.

Speaking in the clip which features in the programme, he said: "I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mum and things I've learned from raising my nephews and apply that.

"Then at the end of the day again, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever."

And the doting father is even preparing for the moment he realises his child is becoming an adult and seeking more independence. He laughed: "Everyone imagines they'll be a great dad until their [children are] teenagers. [They say], ‘Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me.'"

Earlier this week his partner proved she's not too shy to wear her love of her daughter on her sleeve. The 30-year-old posted a picture of herself on Tumblr wearing a silver necklace spelling Blue.
