Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who soon will be seen hosting a cookery show, has come out with a cook book and gifted a copy to his Action Replayy co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The compilation includes his favourite recipes and those of the contestants on his new show MasterChef India, as well as his famous Khiladi special sizzler.
When Rai Bachchan came to meet him on the set of MasterChef India, the Khiladi (player) surprised her by presenting this exclusive cook book.
Kumar also revealed that his favourite food is parathas.
"Mein parathewali gali wala ladka hoon [I am from the lane of parathas], and I love to make different types of parathas when it comes to Indian cuisine," said the actor.
Akshay was raised in the capital's Chandni Chowk area, famous for its parathewali gali.
