Thurman is a mother again at 42, after giving birth to a baby girl, her publicist said July 16, 2012. The newborn is the third child for the star, and her first with financier partner Arpad Busson. "A baby girl! Mommy and baby are doing really well," the star's spokeswoman Gabrielle Kachman told AFP, giving no further details. Thurman and Busson, 49, have had a stormy relationship. They planned to marry after starting dating in 2007, but broke off their engagement in 2009, then reunited last year, the New York Daily News reported. AFP PHOTO / GUILLAUME BAPTISTE / FILES
The baby is Thurman’s first child with partner financier Arpad Busson. Thurman has a 14-year-old daughter, Maya, and a 10-year-old son, Levon, with her ex-husband, actor Ethan Hawke. Thurman, 42, and Busson, 49, have been dating on and off since 2007, including a brief engagement.
The couple reunited earlier this year and Thurman announced she was expecting their child in February. The actress most recently appeared on the hit musical television show, Smash.
