Uday Chopra says his late father Yash Chopra's Kala Pathar is "really good in its twists and turns"

Actor Uday Chopra, who is incharge of his home banner Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) Hollywood wing, says he plans to direct a Hollywood project.

“Maybe yes...may be in Hollywood. I have the feeling inside me, but at the moment there is so much to be done. I have to make a name for my company,” Chopra, who will soon be seen on the big screen in Dhoom 3, said.

Chopra, who now lives in Los Angeles, says he has produced two Hollywood films under YRF Entertainment.

“The first film (Grace of Monaco) comes out in March. It stars Nicole Kidman, and the other film is The Longest Week. [But] these films were ready to go, I put in money and kind of took them forward. Now I am developing two other movies. I have almost cracked the deal with the director,” he said.

He is also keen on remaking his late father veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra’s Kala Patthar.

“I am a very action kind of a guy. I love action and sci-fi, but Kala Patthar in today’s day and age, with little twists and turns will be really good. Kala Patthar did well for its time, but it could have done better.”
