Royal Bridge Suite, Atlantis The Palm provides a stunning 180 degrees view of the Palm and the Gulf

The newly-inaugurated Royal Suite at St Regis Hotel on Saadiyat Island truly lives up to its name.

From the 12-seater dining room, served by the suite’s own butler, to a games room fitted with a billiards table, and a home theatre with a massive television screen and eight Barcaloungers, the suite promises quite a unique experience to whoever comes up with the Dh130,000 needed to stay there for a night.

Spanning 2,100 square metres, the two-storey suite is the largest in the UAE and one of the largest in the world.

The hotel’s Sales and Marketing Director Marwan Fadel, said the target clientele are royal families and celebrities.

“This is not a suite we expect to sell on a daily basis but there’s a unique market for it. We sent out the release with the announcement in mid-August and we already got lots of requests from Russia, the UK, and the GCC,” Fadel said.

“The unique aspect of the suite is the outdoor area. It has 550 square metres of outdoor areas and this includes the swimming pool and barbecue area,” he said.

Upon arrival, guests enter a living room with a grand piano, which faces the 12-seater dining room. Also located on the upper level of the suite are three individual bedrooms, the games room, and a terrace.

The entire lower floor is occupied by the master bedroom with its ocean-view balcony. Other features include an ocean-facing bathroom with a double shower and bathtub; a walk-in closet; and a spa room with a treadmill and two massage beds.

With various shades of blue, teal, and beige across the suite, the interior design was inspired by the sea, white sand, and driftwood. This is mirrored in the furnishing as well as many pieces of artwork from around the world.

Given the high-ranking customers expected, the suite has a security room with a screen to monitor all access cameras.

For an extra touch of pampering, the suite offers toiletries from Bentley and Italian perfume company Acqua Di Parma.
