The lead singer of The Script, Danny O'Donoghue. The band will return to Dubai to perform at RedFestDXB on February 12, 2015.

If you missed your chance to see them last year, fret not — The Script are coming back to town.

The Irish pop rock band, who were last here in February of 2013 for the Emirates Airlines Dubai International Jazz Festival, are returning to the city to headline the first night of RedFestDXB on February 12, 2015.

“Live in concert, The Script is now a true stadium and festival headline act. Their 11-month world tour saw the trio playing sold-out shows throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, so we can’t wait to see them perform at RedFestDXB 2015,” said Thomas Oveson, COO of Done Events, in a press release.

The Script have released four albums since arriving onto the music scene, with their first being a 2008 eponymous debut. Their latest hit came in the form of their 2014 single, Superheroes. They are the second act to be announced for the festival taking place at Dubai Media City, with the first artist added to the line-up of “more than ten international performers” being Canadian Hideaway singer Kiesza.

The February 13 headliner is expected to be announced on Thursday.
